Elaine Call, Clerk-TreasurerElaine Call Elaine Call is a life-time Warsaw resident and has served as City Clerk-Treasurer since 1984. She believes that serving the public in a fiscally responsible way is of the utmost importance. As an elected official, she believes community goals should be developed that reflect cooperation, mutual caring, and dedication. Elaine attended Ball State University, served as president of the Kosciusko County Republican Women's Club, is a "Tribute to Women" Honoree through the Indiana Federation of Republican Women, continuing education through BSU, member of the Indiana League of Municipal Clerks & Treasurers, and member of Women of the Moose.
Recording building permits, variances, rezoning, and alley closings; Advertising bids and other legal notices, budgets, ordinances, financial reports, etc.; Budget preparation, transfer of funds, bank reconciliations, federal and state audits, preparation and payment of claim vouchers; receipt monies for building permits, parking violations, permits, parks & recreation revenues; Taxes and other revenues: local road and street funds, cable TV revenue, trash and garbage fees, contractor and demolition fees, budget transfers, additional appropriations; Record with the County all tax abatements, public rights-of-way, alley openings and closings, offical bonds, deeds and abstracts for municipal property, register voters and voter precinct redistricting; Payroll, taxes and other withholdings; service records; wage and salary ordinance; life, health and specialty insurances; payroll deduction plans; PERF or Police & Fire pension plans; worker's compensation; Administration and financial management of grants. |
