Citizen Assistance

It is our intention to provide the families and residents of the City of Warsaw with efficient services . . . a "return on taxpayer investment," if you will.   Certain City ordinances insure the maintenance of public safety and the protection of neighborhood and personal property rights, as well.  Feel free to contact the Mayor's Office (574-372-9595) if you cannot find an answer to your question.

book pages.gif (1868 bytes) This Municipal Code constitutes a re-codification of the general
and permanent ordinances of the City of Warsaw, Indiana.

Source materials used in the preparation of the Code were the 1974 Code, as supplemented through April 20, 1998, and ordinances subsequently adopted by the Common Council.  The source of each section is included in the history note appearing in parentheses at the end thereof.  The absence of such a note indicates that the section is new and was adopted for the first time with the adoption of the Code.

The chapters of the Code have been conveniently arranged in alphabetical order, and the various sections within each chapter have been catch-lined to facilitate usage.  Notes which tie related sections of the Code together and which refer to relevant state law have been included.  A table listing the state law citations and setting forth their location within the Code is included at the end of this Code.
