The Board of Public Works and Safety is the chief administrative body of the City of Warsaw. It oversees the day-to-day business of the city, including bids and quotes, contracts, building permits and personnel matters.

The Mayor presides over the 3-member Board of Works and appoints the other two members. The current members are Councilmen Jerry Patterson and Charlie Smith. The City Attorney serves as the board's legal adviser, and Clerk-Treasurer as the clerk of the Board.
